Craft Workshops

here
are many skills lost to the 'dark ages'. Our group aims to revive those
skills and bring them to the present. We hold days where a member who has
researched a lost skill teaches their knowledge to the rest of the club.
Some examples are costuming, cooking and making Viking helmets.
n
costuming alone there are a number of skills to learn. Besides the research
and reconstruction of simple Viking tunics and trousers there is also the
decoration of these clothes. Embroidery and tablet weaving are both skills
useful in this area.
